In Spring the
bear hunting season opens and the Northern Pike and Walleye
cruise the shallow, warmer water in search of something to bite,
maybe your hook. June is the perfect time of year for our
fishing guides to show you to the big
northern pike. Wekusko is also a Master Angler lake for
Sauger and Perch.

In Summer, there's
magnificent fishing on Wekusko Lake, in a country famed for it's
trophy sized pike and walleye populations. And there's boating, canoeing, and
hiking. The long days start with an early morning sun and end
in a sky of pink, yellow and orange. Then there's the
nights around the campfire, with the loon's call haunting in the
background, and northern lights dancing across the horizon. |

In Fall, there's
moose hunting, or the chance to down a black bear from a tree
stand or a ground blind. And there's something very
special about fall colours at Tawow. October is the best
month for walleye fishing. Try a shore lunch of walleye
with our fishing guides. |

In Winter, we'll
take you on the ice to experience the life of a commercial
fisherman, helping - if you wish - to set and lift nets for
walleye, whitefish, and great northern pike. Or you can
cut you own hole in the ice and catch you shoreline lunch, a
delicious experience never to be forgotten. Imagine
pulling a fish 40 inches or longer through an 8 inch wide hole
through ice 3 feet thick! Cross country skiing,
snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are a natural part of this
adventure. |

A remote out camp is available at
Woosey lake. This is and excellent spot for trophy
northern pike and walleye, both for ice fishing and in spring,
summer and fall on the open water. The cabin at Woosey
Lake sleeps six. The remote camp is also ideally located
for resident moose hunting. The out camp is only
accessible by ATV. |
